Mobile Legends: Mathilda

On one side was the small, weak Mathilda, and on the other side was the powerful sand hunter group and their gang of thugs. The tribesmen chose to be silent one after another, and began to quietly pack their things and prepare to leave the tribe. Little Mathilda left the tribe in disappointment. She firmly believed that justice must exist in this world. For this reason, she began to wander the vast west, looking for people who could truly help the tribe. While marching to a small town not far from Los Pecados, Mathilda’s sense of justice got the better of her and she ended up in a dispute. Mathilda stood up and resisted the bullying perpetrators in front of her. Mathilda was outnumbered, but then, an old cowboy with a stubbled face appeared and repelled the bandits. He then teamed up with Mathilda and went with her.

Mathilda: Story

In the vast Western Desert, on a barren land with its back facing the mountains, there lived an ancient and simple tribe. For generations, they had kept the traditions of their ancestors, guarded their sacred mountains, and lived hard but quiet lives. Mathilda and her family were members of this tribe.

Mathilda's father, Thasgard, was the leader of the entire tribe. He was brave, upright and responsible, and bore the burden of the tribe’s survival firmly on his shoulders. Under his influence, little Mathilda had developed a similar personality to her father, and was deeply proud of him.

One day, a group of sand hunters from Los Pecados broke into this closed-off tribe and disrupted the peace they had maintained for hundreds of years. The group of sand hunters lost their way in the desert chasing giant beasts. They were discovered by Mathilda's tribesmen right as they were on the cusp of death. The tribesmen brought them back to the tribe.

However, the expectations of the kind and innocent aboriginal tribesmen were shattered when their kind deeds were returned in the form of unforgivable atrocities. These were not ordinary sand hunters, but those of the "iceberg sand hunting group" under Waldo Kane, the most powerful boss in Los Pecados. These guys not only sought life in the desert, but also did a lot of dirty work and sinful deeds.

Despite being in a state close to death, some veterans of the sand hunting group developed an idea in their minds as soon as they saw the mountains behind the tribe: under this seemingly ordinary mountain range there were countless gold mines that could bring them a steady stream of wealth.

Under the care of the aboriginal tribesmen, the sand hunters quickly recovered and left the tribe under their guidance. Before leaving, they promised to repay everyone.

However, Mathilda’s tribesmen did not receive the reward they deserved, but were instead subject to a sinful invasion. The sand hunters who walked out of the desert quickly reported the news to Waldo Kane. On Kane's instruction, Kane’s nephew Blandy returned to Mathilda's tribe with a large number of thugs, preparing to take the entire mountain range by force.

For Mathilda’s tribesmen, this was the tribe’s sacred mountain range, and no one was allowed to tread on it. The tribe patriarch Thasgard sternly rejected Blandy's coercion and temptation, and asked him and his thugs to leave their homeland immediately.

Blandy, who had always traversed Los Pecados without a care, became enraged. He drew a gun and shot Thasgard, wounding him. He then gave him an ultimatum: Either leave the tribe’s land within a month and give up the gold mine at the back of the mountain range, or be wiped out together with his tribe.

Their patriarch now injured, the tribesmen, having lost their leader, fell into panic and confusion. More and more people began to advocate leaving the village to avoid further loss. Facing the retreating tribe, little Mathilda stood up, denounced their weakness, and called on everyone to take up arms and use their own strength to defend their homeland.

It was none other than Clint, an old cowboy who had come to seek Blandy for revenge. After learning about what happened to Mathilda and her people, Clint, also with a strong sense of justice, decided to help Mathilda and fought alongside her to defend their homeland.

In the battle to defend her homeland, Mathilda established a deep relationship with Clint, Claude and others. After a tough ordeal, the brutal Blandy was defeated, and the bandits' covetous hopes of gaining the sacred mountain range were shattered.

The tribe restored the peace it had held in the past and Mathilda was summoned by the sacred mountain range. Upon entering the sacred mountain, she inherited a mysterious power that no one had inherited for hundreds of years.

For Mathilda, a great adventure had only just begun. In the setting sun, she bid farewell to her family and chose to go on the road with Clint, because she firmly believed that in this world, there were even more oppressed people out there waiting for justice to come, and she would do all she could to help them get it.

This skill only benefits 40% of Benedetta's Spell Vamp.

Benedetta: Story

After the rise of the Abyss, the land became plagued and the entire southern part of the Land of Dawn turned into a barren wasteland. Even though, the high ranged Lantis Mountain blocks the corruption of the Abyss, the Mother Nature in the southern realm continues to wither away. This once prosperous land is now nothing but a silent place filled with doom and death. People call it the Despair Place.

The only passage that connected the Crack of the Abyss with the Moniyan Empire was broken, separating the trapped refugees and the exiled wanderers from the rest of the world. They now live in fear and despair, haunted by monsters, yet struggling to survive. For these people, the name of Benedetta brought hope and a sense of security.

This courageous, persevering female ranger leads a team and fights in the land south to Lantis Mountain, protecting the scattered settlement set up by the last survivors, within the Despair Place. It had been four years, ever since Benedetta and her team had started their campaign in the Lantis Mountain region.

Whenever she drew Alecto, the rampaging monsters would scatter in fear, from this long sharpened sword, infused with unstoppable power. The people of the southern regions titled her as the Shadow Ranger and the Protector of the Despair Place. She had earned the admiration and respect of everyone in this desolate wasteland. However, the distant Moniyan Empire jad left a deep scar in Benedetta's heart, and it was only she who knew, that the wound could never heal.

Alucard wasn't the only person whose life was changed by the war that happened years ago, Benedetta was one of the victims, as well. But Benedetta's family was unlike that of Alucard's. Her father wasn't an Officer or mentor, but was just an ordinary soldier. Unfortunately, the second division of the Imperial Army was convicted of rebellion after they were defeated in battle, and so, no honor or glory was given to the soldiers who had dedicated, their lives for the country. As an officer's child, Alucard was sent to the Monastery of Light along with several other children and grew up, with the blessing of Light.

But Benedetta, didn't receive such privilege as she was the child of a low-rank soldier and had to struggle to make a living without her parents by her side. Ever since Benedetta was little, she had always wished that she could one day become a Warrior of Light, take back the glory that rightfully belonged to her father, and avenge her father's death by killing those demonic monsters.

To this end, she kept training and treating herself as a warrior, constantly sharpening her fighting skills, and eventually, inherited the long sword left by her father, preparing for the battles that were to come. However, the passionate Benedetta was rejected when she signed up for the trials of the Empire Army because the powerful men who ran the Knight's Order were furious because of the betrayal of Alucard's parents and the second division soldiers and ordered that no descendant of a rebel could ever join the Imperial Army so that they would never seek the truth, just like Alucard did. Disappointed and enraged by the empire, Benedetta took up her long sword and left the Moniyan Empire, heading for the Barren Lands and preparing to annihilate the monsters and have her vengeance by herself.

Even though she was mentally prepared, Benedetta was shocked, by the corruption and desolation the first time she saw the Barren Lands. But what surprised Benedetta, even more, was that there were people who lived near the foothills of the Lantis Mountain, suffered a harsh environment. Life there was hard, but those people were optimistic and hard-working. Unfortunately, they had to fight for everything they needed to survive. And they did: they improved the soil, raised the next generation, and defeated the monsters. At first, Benedetta was not interested in these people at all. She aimlessly wandered the Barren Lands and gave her long sword a new name, Alecto.

She then unleashed her anger on the monsters and slaughtered them all. But as time went by, Benedetta slowly realized that this land is truly a vast area, and the power of the Abyss and the monsters were more formidable than what she had expected. She could have never saved the Despair Place or changed anything on her own. One day, Benedetta ran across a ranger squad who were in the middle of a fight against some monsters. The odds were against them, but they fought bravely as a team, with great synchronization and drove back the monsters, who attempted to raid the human camps several times. During the campaign, Benedetta and the rangers established friendship and trust through their joint effort. And these people who lived in a godforsaken place demonstrated the fortitude and the strong will to survive, which eventually touched Benedetta's soul and made her believe that it was not the weapon in their hands that would one day triumph over the Abyss, but it was the everlasting hope in their hearts.

Afterward, Benedetta chose to stay and built a ranger squad, where each member shared the same vision but had different skills. They helped the people of the Southern lands defend their homeland. One by one, the monsters across the entire region of Lantis Mountain's southern foothills were defeated by Benedetta and her comrades. Benedetta would always leave a mark on the battlefield after she stroked down the enemies, reminding the monsters that Benedetta had never forgotten what they did to her. More and more settlements sprang up around Lantis Mountain and the human civilization was able to develop, thanks to their protection. They had been through hell, they had made many sacrifices. But nothing could shake their will and stop this Ranger squad from walking against the shadow. Under Benedetta's command, they believed that so long as she was there, hope still existed and they believed, they would see flowers bloom in the Barren Lands one day. Meanwhile, Bella had another greater ambition: she wished to eliminate all the monsters and recover her father's glory to prove a simple fact to the foolish rulers of the Moniyan Empire, letting them know that honor was not something to be given by anyone, it was hard-earned. This was not just a battle between her and the Abyss, it is also a war between her and the Empire.

Long ago, the House of Akakage was hailed as the Gods of Ninja Arts. For generations, the Akakages researched and taught advanced ninjutsu. In order to achieve the pinnacle of ninja arts, the Akakages used forbidden ninjutsu to rid their hearts of evil, anger, and greed by condensing them into a demon called, Hanekage. No one expected that Hanekage would have consciousness despite lurking within their bodies.

When the legendary One Hundred Ghosts attacked the House of Akakage, the demon within them merged the ghosts to become a single entity. Thus began a bloody feud between the Akakage and the powerful demon. Hanekage. At a grave cost, the Akakage used the ninjutsu, Blood Shadow, to temporarily seal the demon. In order to permanently seal Hanekage, the Akakages used their sacred tools to create a legendary sword, known as Ame no Habakiri. Not long after, the forefathers of the Akakage perished from the world. Their grieving disciples hid Ame no Habakiri in an unknown place that the only members of the Akakage family could reach. Little did the Akakage know, the cunning Goddess of Death, Izanami, observed these events and secretly inserted a part of her soul in one of their progeny to one day resurrect Hanekage.

Lapu-Lapu: Story

From up on the peak, Lapu-Lapu looked down at the flames of the Moniyan camp at the foot of the mountain. He never thought he would once again step on to a battlefield, the kind of place he hated the most. But he knew that in order to protect that which was most important, he could no longer run away.

As early as the middle of the Era of Strife, the Doric people came to the Veneto Islands to the southeast of the mainland where they thrived.

Just as turbulent waves are the normal state of the sea, this lonely archipelago was by no means peaceful. The protection of the sea and the isolated lifestyle made the Doric forget the vows made by the various tribes hundreds of years prior to join forces and resist the powerful Moniyan navy and there was constant conflict between tribes large and small.

Lapu-Lapu was the most famous warrior of the Veneto Islands. He was employed by various tribes over a long period of time, passing between the islands. The endless battles brought him weariness, dignity, honor, and money... On the battlefield, human lives were worthless. So what was the value in it all? Having fought countless wars, he returned to his hometown with his scarred body and mind.

Lapu-Lapu lived a quiet life in his hometown like an ordinary hunter, working at sunrise and resting at sunset.

But the peaceful life he was looking forward to did not last. Some warlords who had defected from the Moniyan Empire set their sights on this free land. Well-trained troops landed on the Veneto Islands like tidal waves. The scattered Doric peoples were powerless to resist, and vast swathes of land fell into enemy hands.

Various tribes sent invitations to Lapu-Lapu, hoping that he could join their camp. He was no longer willing to work for the interests of the tribal leaders, but there was no way he could become a despicable capitulator, so he rejected the persuasions of the leaders and the Moniyans, and just wanted to remain a simple hunter aloof from any worldly strife.

Lapu-Lapu and the Moniyans made a non-aggression agreement. However, in the eyes of the greedy Moniyans, there was no such thing as neutrality and everything in the Veneto Islands was theirs for the taking. Soon, the Moniyans broke the agreement and ransacked Lapu-Lapu's tribe while he was out.

The humiliating loss brought only tears from his wife and children and a devastated home. Lapu-Lapu was incensed. He wanted no more than to protect everything around him. If the Moniyans were going to repay his compromises with perfidy, he would make them see his inviolable dignity in the form of their own blood.

Lapu-Lapu assembled the young people of the tribe together into a unit and began his campaign of resistance. He was more familiar with the hometown under his feet than anyone, and knew how to attack, fight and retreat in the mountains and forests. The unit kept attacking Moniyan bases and supply lines, coming and going without leaving a trace, leaving the Moniyans with constant confusion and panic.

When a Moniyan warlord found out that this was all Lapu-Lapu's doing, the despicable invaders began to deliberately loot the villages with which Lapu-Lapu had allied. They strengthened their defenses and hid provisions to force Lapu-Lapu to appear. The villages that once welcomed Lapu-Lapu cordially had become totally unrecognizable under the iron boot of the Moniyans.

The heartbroken Lapu-Lapu understood that guerrilla warfare would not be enough to win the final victory. The Doric were destined to face the mighty Moniyan Empire head on; without doubt an impossible task for him and his unit.

Therefore, he had to unite all the forces that could be united.

Lapu-Lapu recruited all the Doric who had a will to resist, and trained them into reliable warriors, regardless of whether they were men or women. This was not a group of thugs thirsting for power, but a rebel army born to protect and fight for themselves. Everyone possessed the courage and conscience to dedicate themselves to their land. They gathered around Lapu-Lapu and fought alongside him.

After many arduous battles, the decisive showdown finally arrived. Lapu-Lapu lured the enemy to the foot of a mountain where countless Doric warriors were hidden, and withdrew his unit into the mountain. The enemy knew that Lapu-Lapu was good at jungle warfare, and the other side of the mountain was a cliff, so they decided to guard the only way out of the mountain at the bottom. The Moniyans believed that the “trapped and desperate” rebels would either have to come out of the mountain and fight the army head-on, or simply starve to death inside.

But in the middle of the night while the Moniyans were sleeping sweetly waiting for victory, Lapu-Lapu commanded his soldiers to climb down the cliff using ropes made of mountain vines, and launched a surprise attack on the Moniyans. All the built-up humiliation and hatred took on the form of the swift swords of the Doric warriors, which poured down on the unsuspecting Moniyans. Before the pitiful Moniyan warlord could react, he was beheaded by Lapu-Lapu.

After this battle, the Moniyan invaders, who had lost their leader, were unable to recover, and the surging resistance forces under the leadership of Lapu-Lapu drove them back to the mainland. The Veneto Islands had once again become a bright and free paradise.

Story: Alucard

The last great war is a glorious memory for the Moniyans. The powerful Light's Order, together with the Imperial Border Guards, wiped out the demonic strongholds at the Moniyan and Barren Lands pass, driving the fiends back to the hinterlands of the Forsaken Wastes. But for young Alucard, the war was nothing but a terrible memory of pain and misery. His father's second regiment suffered heavy losses due to a rash lone advance. Alucard's father disappeared in the battle, and was later declared dead by the Light's Order.

As they had disobeyed orders, the second regiment was not honored and praised for their sacrifice, but labeled "disobedient" and criticized for their lack of discipline. This was a huge blow to Alucard, who had always regarded his father as a hero and role model. Facing shame and ridicule everywhere he went, the flames of revenge burned within his chest, and he became determined to bring honor to his father's name and eliminate all the demons in the Land of Dawn. And so, he left his hometown and journeyed to the ancient and mysterious Monastery of Light. As the orphaned son of a dead soldier, Alucard was soon accepted into the Monastery of Light.

In the following years, Alucard studied a range of combat skills in the Monastery of Light. With his natural talent and undying determination, he soon became the most promising student among his peers. During his training, Tigreal, Commander of the Light's Order, who had once fought in the second regiment with his father, often visited Alucard in the Monastery of Light, teaching him various advanced combat skills and telling him of his father's heroic deeds.

Tigreal was already famous throughout the Empire at that time, and Alucard respected him greatly, regarding him as an elder brother of sorts. However, whenever he mentioned his father's final battle, Tigreal always fell silent, his eyes filled with a wave of complex emotions. Alucard was skeptical of the idea that his father had died in battle. He was convinced that his father was still alive and was waiting for him somewhere.

At the age of eighteen, Alucard finally completed all of his studies and formal preparations. Encouraged by Tigreal, he became the monastery's Arbiter of Light. He was ordered to go forth and eliminate the demons and heretics hidden throughout the world, and so he picked up his father's old sword, given to him by Tigreal, and set off. In his father's name, and fueled by his deep hatred of demons, Alucard soon became the greatest demon hunter in the world.

An unforeseen incident occurred during a demon hunting operation on the border of the Barren Lands. Alucard was injured by a magic blade, sustaining a wound that could not be healed. Darkness poured into his body from the wound, and his arm began to undergo a strange transformation... In order to prevent the mutation from spreading throughout his whole body, Alucard asked an old smith to help him forge a pair of gauntlets. This was no ordinary smith—he was a survivor of that fated battle, a member of the Light's Order who covered his allies' retreat along with Alucard's father.

He recognized the huge sword in Alucard's hand. After learning who he was, the old man told Alucard that the reason the second regiment was forced so deep into enemy territory was that the high-level knights at that time were greedy for glory and too impulsive, which led to the second regiment finding itself trapped in a tight encirclement. In a moment of desperation, Alucard's father led some soldiers to cover the retreat of the main force headed by Tigreal, and was then swarmed by a tide of demons and disappeared. He was the only survivor, rescued by Alucard's father.

After learning the truth, Alucard returned to the capital and questioned Tigreal about the battle and why he hadn't told him what had really happened that day. Seeing the anger gripping Alucard, Tigreal confessed the guilt he felt for abandoning his allies and the silence he was forced to maintain at the behest of his family. He expressed his willingness to make up for it in any way he could, claiming that he would give his own life if he had to. However, before Tigreal, who was once like a brother to him, the young Alucard was entangled in a web of confusion. He couldn't bear to kill Tigreal, but he couldn't forgive him either.

For the sake of his father's honor, Alucard asked the Empire to reveal the truth of the second regiment and restore his father's name. However, the knights of that battle had become some of the most powerful figures in the Empire. They refused Alucard's request and drove him out of the capital. On top of this, the puritanical Monastery of Light was strongly against Alucard's unnatural right hand, repeatedly making trouble for him and even calling him a heretic. For the longest time, Alucard's deep hatred of the demons and his desire to regain his father's honor had spurred him on in his mission to serve as the Arbiter of Light. But now, faced with the Empire that had betrayed his father, and a church that treated him with scorn, Alucard made an unthinkable decision: To betray the Monastery of Light and fight for himself.

In the following years, Alucard began wandering the Land of Dawn, annihilating demons everywhere he went on his own terms and searching for clues as to his father's whereabouts. His demonic right hand not only brought him great strength, but also became an unstable element which he was forced to hide under his heavy armor every day.

After a string of epic battles, Alucard became known as one of the most legendary fighters in Moniyan. Soon, everyone knew that wherever demons ran rampant, the demon hunter with the dark right hand would no doubt descend from the sky and leave none alive.
